I Started IBITIANS 1 year ago, on July 01, 2007. Looking back, it’s been the busiest year of my life, although there were also some incredibly difficult times as well. I’m sure years from now I’ll have more perspective on things. All I can say for now is that I am grateful to Allah who gave me strength to run the show and thankful to people who made it a success.

For people interested in statistics, here they are. There are nearly 1500 posts on IBITIANS,  and traffic and RSS subscribers continue to grow. I will post seperatly for the top posts and categories.

A lot’s changed in the last twelve months. I can only imagine what the next twelve will bring. The site was started at times when burning Issues like Lal Masjid & Jamia Hafsa Operation, Chief Justice Case, Lawyers Movement, and Media banning was on the rise. The idea was to give people social awareness along with norms & values of the society; raised & highlighted many social, political and economical issues of Pakistan. Although there were many things going around, however I managed to strive for what people wanted to read. All credit goes to people who read, columnists who writes and newspapers who publish them primarily. However it is one of the most toughest jobs to run something ‘ILMI’ when masses are looking for something ‘FILMI’ all the time in Pakistan. There is also a very limited Urdu Reading Community, but Alhamdulilah, IBITIANS found its way towards a subjective and mannered approach and gained popularity among mature people.

Here, I am excited to let everyone know that we are working on few more projects of different genres. They will introduce many cool new features and ability to extend user capabilities
