Rains bring back many memories with them. We recall the way we used to enjoy in our childhood and youth. Sometimes we remember certain places, events and people or miss them in rainy seasons. Some words or acts cling to our mind and become a vital part of our memories. All of us have some feelings or thoughts related to rains and cloudy weather. Some of us get ecxited and enjoy them to the fullest while others become sad, lost in old memories of someone they have missed on the path of life. Life is full of strange experiences; experiences of a lovely weather, a hardship, a relation and even lonliness.

Does The Military Really Have An “Alphabet”?

It’s not an alphabet as much as a list of words used to aid in pronunciation over a radio. It’s called the NATO phonetic alphabet, more formally the International Radio-telephony Spelling Alphabet, is the most widely used spelling alphabet. Though often called “phonetic alphabets”, spelling alphabets have no connection to phonetic transcription systems like the International Phonetic Alphabet. Instead, the NATO alphabet assigns code words to the letters of the English alphabet acrophonically (Alfa for A, Bravo for B, etc.). A phonetic alphabet is a list of words used to identify letters in a message transmitted by radio or telephone, so that critical combination of letters (and numbers) can be pronounced and understood by those who transmit and receive voice messages by radio or telephone regardless of their native language, especially when the safety of navigation or persons is essential. The paramount reason is to ensure intelligibility of voice signals over radio links.

Some updates and concerns about BTC – IBITIANS.comhttp://creatingdrew.com/img/site_news.png

For the last 30 days or so, we have to face many problems one after another. 1st before Eid, IBITIANS was hacked and defaced, after series of posts against black water especially.. it took almost a week to restore it fully and operational. Then after Eid vacations, site was never stable at hosting end… It was  hosted by Websouls.com and they started bugging with loads of complain about ibitians.com, 1st they said it was processing issue, then consumption of memory and bla bla bla… probably they had to bite more than they can chew, any how the server where IBITIANS.com was hosted choked many times, and downtime was unbearable, that’s why majority of the readers had to suffer a lot.. Then they suspended IBITIANS.com account many times, especially in peak hours, as they were unable to bear the traffic….

So we decided to shift IBITIANS.com to new partners, and then through a reliable source BTCI shifted to Hostingshouse.com although it was a thankless job but they helped to transfer IBITIANS in quick manners and Alhamdulilah it is running fine now.

There were also few changing in layout as we reduced number of posts displayed on a single page, because some of the users complained about slow loading time, also reduced number of tabs and converted few categories and subcategories into tags. Reduced the number of books titles highlighting popular free ebooks available for download. Sharing icons for major bookmarking sites are currently away and number of similar posts are reduced to 5 from 10 (after the posts section).

A past update was creation of Facebook Fan page, which has now nearly 270 fan, MahsaAllah and growing by each day.

One major change is LOGO, this was in work at IBITIANS.com Facebook Fan Page, but launched here now. The Idea behind is to represent some pro-Pakistani and prosperity  image. Green color obviously representing Pakistan and corps represent prosperity. The crescent in Pakistani flag becomes full moon showing the future development emerging from dark to brighter the surrounding areas. Hope you have liked it.

For Future: Well two things, improvement of content, uploading of more Novels of your favourite writers as many as possible, and possibily a search for new layout.. readers if you like to share your thoughts and views or ideas you are more than welcome. Comments below to let me know what and how you think about IBITIANS.com.. it all yours…

Keep Reading, Keep Sharing and Visiting Our Sponsors ;)
